Nathan McGuire took five wickets, while David Vincent scored an unbeaten half century as Ireland Under 19s beat Scotland by seven wickets in their final warm-up match in Guyana.

Rush all-rounder McGuire has been a revelation on tour with his round the wicket off-spinners proving unplayable.

His haul at Bourda put Scotland in a spin as they were bowled out for 138 - McGuire's 5 for 33 taking his tally on tour to 17 wickets.

There were also two wickets apiece for Muzamil Sherzad and Liam Doherty, with Jamie Forbes claiming the other in a fine bowling and fielding display.

What could have been a potentially difficult chase, turned into a stroll in the park for the Boys In Green.

Clontarf's David Vincent anchored the innings to perfection, with his unbeaten 51 (4 fours) easing Pete Johnston's side to a nerveless seven wickets win with more than 18 overs to spare.

He shared an unbroken fourth wicket stand of 53 with Josh Cox (28*) as Ireland raced to the finish line, with runs too for Doherty (17), Tector (16) and Dickson (9).

Ireland start their campaign on Friday with a group game against Uganda.
