The Celtic Cup will be run again in 2022 with Scotland's Under 15s meeting their Irish counterparts at Dumfries at the start of August.

The two teams are regular combatants at youth level following the virtual demise of ICC Europe youth tournaments.

The sides have played at Under 15 and 17 level boys, while there have also been clashes between the two countries girls and women's sides.

While the full youth international calendar has yet to be announced, Dumfries Cricket confirmed this week on Twitter that they would be hosting the Under 15s, who will be playing a mix of T20 and 50 overs cricket.

"Looking forward to hosting the Celtic Cup Series here at #Nunholm at the start of August☘️ #SCOvIRE #ScotlandU15s #FollowScotland."

It should be a great tournament and give the youth coaches and selectors an opportunity to see their young players in international action.
