TERENURE

  • Captain: Donal Lynch
  • Players in: James Smith, Henry Dall, Raghav Grover
  • Players out: none
  • Young player to watch: Ryan Smith

Donal Lynch is captain of Terenure and will have three new players in the ranks as they attempt to challenge for promotion to the top flight of Leinster cricket.

James Smith returns having been at North Kildare, while Raghav Grover is studying locally and will be a good asset.

Henry Dall is here working and has played for South Australia under-age sides. Now 22, he has also experience of UK conditions, having played in Scotland with Drumpellier in 2018.

A left-handed opening batsman and right-arm off-spinner, he will add depth and quality to the Terenure side.

"We are all looking forward to getting going again this year and building on the momentum we've been gathering over the last number of years," skipper Donal Lynch told CricketEurope.

"Our core is still pretty much unchanged from five years ago, and with James Smith returning to the club after a few years and the addition of top order batters Henry Dall and Raghav Grover, we're looking to go from being competitive to getting more wins over the line."
