Munster Reds have named an unchanged squad for Tuesday's 50-overs interpro clash against Leinster Lightning at Sydney Parade.

Munster chased down 249 to beat Northern Knights last week in an impressive display, but Head Coach Ted Williamson, who coached Lightning to back-to-back trebles, knows that improvement is needed if they are to topple Leinster.

"We were happy enough to get the points away from home in our first match up at Stormont," began Williamson.

"The early games can be very tricky in bowler friendly conditions. We were happy to get across the line with some decent performances, but still plenty to work on afterwards,

"We played well in parts of the game and we will be looking to build on that. It's a big challenge tomorrow against Lightning. They will be favourites as they always are.

"It's going to be a crucial game with both of us winning our openers. In a six games series to be sitting two from two would put the winners in a very strong position. They know the conditions pretty well at Pembroke, as do most of our lads to be fair.

"I'm really looking forward to the game, to test ourselves, and see just how much we are pushing on year on year. Hopefully it should be a really good game of cricket for everybody."
