Conor Brolly struck the penultimate ball of the game over the ropes as Ardmore snatched a dramatic two wickets win against Coleraine in their T20 match at Sandel Lodge.

Chasing 109 to win, Ardmore slumped to 21 for 5, before Tyron Koen and Conor King (21) got the chase back on track with a sixth wicket stand of 41.

Still, with three overs left, the Bleachgreen side looked second favourites at 77 for 7, with 32 still required.

Koen (46) though took 22 off the 18th over to leave just 10 needed from the last two overs.

His dismissal by Ravindra Karunaratne (2-9) though saw the pendulum swing again and with seven needed off the last over, it was in the balance.

Just two singles came from the first four balls, but Brolly connected sweetly with the fifth ball, as it went sailing over the ropes.

Stephen Hutchinson (2-8) was the pick of the Bannsiders attack, along with Karunaratne.

Earlier, Matthew Hutchinson top scored with 33 in Coleraine's 108 for 5, with runs too for Varun Chopra (27), and Ben Johnston (20).

There are six T20 matches on Friday night as follows:

  • Fox Lodge v Brigade
