Ireland Men will follow the same warm-up preparation for the T20 World Cup as they did before the 2015 World Cup in Australia.

Yesterday, Cricket Ireland confirmed three games at the Coogee Oval in Sydney against host club Randwick Petersham on October 4, followed by a Sydney Cricket Ground XI the next day and a New South Wales XI on October 7.

The Ireland squad will then move on to Melbourne for official warm-up games, against opponents still to be announced, on October 11 and 13 before they fly on to Hobart for their first World Cup match on October 17, followed by games against Scotland and West Indies on October 19 and 21.

Their first opponents the winners of the second qualifying tournament which gets under way in Bulawayo on Monday with hosts Zimbabwe and Netherlands the favourites to meet in the final on July 17.
