A half century from Seb Yeates and a combined seven wickets for James West and Mark Hanna ensured the NCU Under 15s ended their interprovincial campaign on a high with a 31-run win over the North West at Bonds Glen.

Opener Yeates hit eight boundaries in his 59 from 49 balls, sharing an opening stand of 46 with James West (16) and 50 for the second with Adam Leckey (21) in their total of 129 for 4.

The NW reply got off to an excellent start as Charlie Simpson (27) and Jake Montgomery (22) shared an opening stand of 48, but the innings faltered after the stand was broken.

James West (4-15) and Mark Hanna (3-13) doing the damage as he innings closed on 98 for 9.

The NCU finish second behind champions Leinster, with the NW third, and Munster fourth.
