Ireland and The Netherlands played out a dramatic tie in the afternoon match with the hosts earning a share of the points with a last wicket stand of 16.

With two needed from the last ball of the game, they scrambled a leg-bye to draw level.

Nidhi Patil (20*) and Sharvari Kote (3*) were the heroes for the Dutch, who looked beaten as they were reduced to 87 for 9 in the 17th over chasing 104.

Freya Sargent (3-11) took her wickets tally for the day to seven, while Kia McCartney took two wickets once again.

In the Irish total of 103 for 5, Ally Boucher (29) and Anna Squires (22) shared a second wicket stand of 47.

Pien Oost (2-11) was best with the ball.

The teams are playing a five-match series this week, with two more T20s on Wednesday and one on Thursday.
