First blood to the Emerging Knights in the two match series with a four wicket win over their North West counterparts.

Shane Getkate top scored for the visitors with 84, over half the Warriors total of 167.
Four of the Knights bowlers claimed two wickets each, Josh Manley 2-10, Cian Robertson 2-25, Finn Lutton 2-28 and James West 2-36.

In the Knights reply there was an opening stand of 66 between Ani Chore (28) and Ryan Hunter (41) which was broken when Stuart Kennedy had Chore caught by skipper Jared Wilson, the first of his two wickets.

The remaining four wickets were shared, Wilson, Robbie Miller, Dhram Singh and Sam Kincaid each with a single success, before Adam Lecky (23*) and Carson McCullough (14*) saw the Knights over the line.

The two sides meet again on Monday at Bready in the second of the two fixtures.
