Tim Tector and Scott Macbeth are set to become the latest young Irish cricketing stars to join Randwick Petersham for a stint Down Under.

The pair, who both played in the Under 19 World Cup earlier this year join an illustrious list that have developed their talents at the famous Sydney based club.

Ireland have enjoyed an arrangement with the 'Randy Petes' since the 2015 World Cup, where they based themselves in Coogee beside the ground and played a warm-up game there.

Players who have benefitted from the overseas exposure include current captain Andrew Balbirnie, Barry McCarthy and Tim's older brother Harry.

The Irish are due to once again base themselves there for a training camp ahead of next month's T20 World Cup, and will play Randwick Petersham, an SCG XI and a NSW XI in three weeks' time.
