A successful season for Bonds Glen on and off the field, with the Championship title, and hosting the Faughan Valley Cup final.

The club has made great strides at all levels this past few years and their deserved success is a reward for the hard work that goes into the club from its players, supporters and volunteer base.

Their batting was the foundation for their trophy success, with former Irish international David Cooke leading the way in the run charts. he racked up 705 runs at an impressive 58.75, which included five fifties and an unbeaten century.

Raymond Curry was another centurion which helped him to 546 runs at 36.40 - three fifties.

Mattie Barr hit two hundreds in his 463 runs at 30.86, while Heinrich Roberts hit 328 runs at 25.23 (2 fifties).

Three other players passed 200 runs - Simon Killen (286 at 16.82), Steven Barr (230 at 23) and Johnny Haslett (227 at 22.70).

The bowling numbers weren't as impressive, with only one player passing the 20-wicket mark.

Next was Kyle Moore who claimed 14 wickets at 33.40, while the other two to get to double figures were Matthew Barr (11 at 39.72), and Derek Curry (10 at 37.70).
