Natthakan Chantam became the seventh woman to score a century on ODI debut as Thailand won their first ever ODI today against the Netherlands.

The century came after Dutch captain Heather Siegers out Thailand in to bat. Chantam scored 102 - only the fourth century by a player in her country's first ODI - as Thailand scored 243-9 from their 50 overs.

The Dutch reply started with a 47 run partnership between Babette de Leede and Sterre Kalis, but that was the only partnership of note for the visitors.

De Leede top scored with 33 whilst captain Siegers contributed 28 but the Dutch were bowled out for 134, losing by 109 runs. Onnicha Kamchomphu was the pick of the Thai bowlers with 3-35.

The sides meet again in the second ODI on Tuesday. The tour will feature four ODIs and four T20Is in all.
