David Anthony has taken over the reins at The Booathole and he will be able to call on the services of former Irish international Graeme McCarter who has joined from Brigade.

Sabin Babu and Aneesh Anilkumar have left for pastures new, but Anthony believes the Donegal side can build on their progress in 2022.

"It was disappointing last year to finish without silverware after going unbeaten in the championship league failing only to the rain.

"We are at a stage where we have a really strong core group of young players with the addition of the MacBeth brothers and Dawie Bernard providing the experience.

"The signing of Graeme McCarter is an obvious huge boost for the club and we hope he can contribute both on and off the field.

"We are all looking forward to another year at the Boathole and hoping for some silverware and a push for the Premiership spots."

St Johnston begin their season on April 29th when they take on Senior Cup winners Fox Lodge.
