Jamie Grassi and Andrew Sheridan are opting for pastures new in 2023 with a switch to Malahide.

Former Ireland U19 player and current Italian international Grassi explained his reasons for opting to leave North County.

"I wanted a new challenge for my cricket to progress my game and to be playing in the Premier league.

"Malahide obviously is a lovely ground and have been doing well recently so hoping it can help with my development."

Andrew Sheridan echoed those sentiments, as he too is set to make the short journey to the Village.

"Malahide has always been a club I have admired from a distance.

"I hope to make a positive impact both on and off the pitch this season. I'm very excited to get started."

The pair won't have too long to wait before they come up against their former team-mates as Malahide entertain North County on the opening day of the season,
