YMCA are back at Claremont Road in 2023 and have Tim Tector at the helm for the upcoming campaign.

They have signed Australian Ashley Burton who plays for Randwick Petersham, and has previous UK club experience.

There are no players in, but Simi Singh won't be at the club. The Irish international is currently in the USA and hasn't made a decision on where he will be playing this summer as he keeps his options open.

There are a number of very talented youngsters in the YMCA production line, with in addition to the skipper himself, are Ireland youth internationals Reuben Wilson and Olly Riley who spent time this winter in South Africa with the Cricket Leinster exchange.

"It's great news that we are back in Claremont Road for the 2023 season," said Tim Tector.

"We are all really looking forward to the new season. In terms of players there hasn't been much movement, so we have a bit of stability.

"We have an overseas professional for the first time in a while, with Ashley Burton coming over from Australia and we are excited to see what he can bring to the table.

"There is as always at YM a lot of youth thanks to our great Academy system, and we are all enjoying being back training and can't wait for the season to start."

YMCA start their season on April 29th with home matches against Terenure and Pembroke in the T20 Cup.
