Leaving the club are Dylan Blignaut who is playing in the UK, while Ash Bain and Levon Shields are joining Phoenix.

Joining are 'Great Dane' Nicolaj Laegsgaard who is the overseas professional and thanks to Jeremy Bray's Danish connections comes highly recommended.

Sean McNicholl is a promising bowler who has taken 100 wickets in the Victorian Premier League and whose father hails from County Derry. Closer to home Nathan Rooney makes the short trip from Balbiriigan, while Muzamil and Yaseen Sherzad join from North Kildare.

"We are very excited about what is in store for 2023," said captain Andrew Kavanagh.

"We’ve got a young squad overall so we’re hoping we can kick on from a good season last year and pick up a piece or two of silverware to top it off."

Chair of Cricket Barry Grimes added: "The lads have been working really hard during the off-season under Head Coach Jeremy Bray.

"There's a real buzz about The Vineyard and we're all raring to go."

The Hills start their season on April 29th with home T20 matches against fellow Fingal sides North County and Rush at The Vineyard.
