North County have confirmed the arrival of Simi Singh, with Tanvir Hasan and Abdul Sattar also signing for the Balrothery club.

The 36 year-old has played 90 times for Ireland but hasn't featured since last October, missing out on the recent Asian tour.

He joins from YMCA for the new season, and has also played previously with Malahide, Old Belvedere and Phoenix.

One of the most prolific players in Leinster, Singh has 19 centuries in his 7563 runs across 203 games since his 2006 debut, and has also picked up 273 wickets.

Tanvir Hasan returns to Dublin cricket with the former Leinster players enjoying two seasons at Strabane, while Abdul Sattar arrives from North Kildare.

"The lads have put in a lot of work this pre-season, with our squad strengthened with the additions of Abdul Sattar and Tanvir Hasan," club captain Sean Sludds told CricketEurope.

"Simi Singh has also joined and everyone at the club are delighted to have a player of his quality and experience come in."
