There were victories on Thursday night in the Leinster Women's Division One for Merrion, YMCA, Leinster and Clontarf.

Merrion beat The Hills by 75 runs
Merrion 182/6 (Rebecca Stokell 51, Polly Inglis 46, Leah Paul 23; Aimee Maguire 4-26)
The Hills 107/7 (Mary-Anne Musonda 28, Chloe Ericson 21*; Sophie Stewart 2-15, Rachel Delaney 2-16)

Merrion's Rebecca Stokell top-scored with 51 from just 32 balls (9 fours), as she shared stands of 59 for the fist wicket with Leah Paul (23), and 65 for the second with Polly Inglis (46).

At 124 for 2 just past the halfway stage a total of 200 looked on the cards before being pegged back by Aimee Maguire's four wickets.

Still a total of 182 for 6 was more than enough as The Hills ended on 107/7 - Mary-Anne Musonda making 28.

Malahide lost to YMCA by 72 runs
YMCA 181/3 (Siuin Woods 70, Gaby Lewis 42, Sarah Forbes 41*)
Malahide 109/8 (Sarah Condron 36*; Robyn Lewis 3-21)

YMCA powered to an emphatic 72-run win over Malahide thanks to a fibe batting effort. Siuin Woodss top-scored with 70 (7 fours) sharing stands of 88 with Gaby Lewis (42) and Sarah Forbes (41*) as they posted 181 for 3.

That proved far too many for Malahide who ended on 109 for 8, with Sarah Condron's 36 the highlight.

Robyn Lewis took three wickets in a game where the Claremont Road side won despite only having nine players.

Leinster beat Pembroke by 5 wickets

Leinster ran out 5-wicket winners over Pembroke with Irish internationals to the fore. Clare Shillington made 56 (5 fours, 1 six) and Mary Waldron 36 as Pembroke posted 134 for 5.

A third wicket stand of 76 between Sophie MacMahon (38) and Laura Delany (36) ensured a welcome win in the final overs.

Phoenix lost to Clontarf by 84 runs

Phoenix 100/8 (Lucy McDonough 23, Ali Keenan 21*, Alice Walsh 4-16, Sinead Thompson 2-7)

Robyn Searle's brilliant 90 propelled Clontarf to a huge 84-run win against Phoenix.

She shared stands of 76 in 8 overs for the second wicket with Aoife Brennan (26) and 102 in 10 overs with Julie McNally as the Castle Avenue side made 184 for 2.

The Phoenix chase never got going, ending on 100 for 8.
