Pembroke's clash with Civil Service was the only one to beat the weather in the top two divisions in Leinster.

The 25 overs match at Sydney Parade saw Civil Service bowled out for 81, with Nilesh Joshi's 26 their best effort.

There were two wickets apiece for Fiachra Tucker, Paul Lawson and Gavin Hoey - who took advantage of the washed out interpro weekend to make a bonus appearance.

Pembroke were more worried about the weather than the CS attack as they raced to their modest target in the 10th over - runs for Diarmaid Tucker (29) and Nick Stapelton (20) - two wickets each for Aamir Bafanda and Mubashar Siddique.

The win keeps Pembroke at the top of the Championship table and on course for an instant return to the top flight.
