Bready retained the Women’s Premiership title after an emphatic 41-run victory over Coleraine earlier this week.

Irish international Alana Dalzell dominated the Bready innings, hitting 10 fours in her unbeaten 81 as they made 130 for 3. That took her season tally in the top flight league to 377 runs at an average of 94.25 – by far the stand-out performer in the region.

Kenya McCartney (2-28) was best with the ball for the hosts and her 26 not out was the top score in their reply of 89 for 7 – two wickets for Charley Scott.The maximum points win guaranteed Bready another title and they can complete the double if they beat old foes Fox Lodge on Friday. 

The Foxies moved into second in the table after beat Bonds Glen. Skipper Kara Bates (3-11) and Elle Moore (2-8) were best with the ball. Hannah McLaughlin (21) and Mollie Devine (20) ensured the Ballymagorry side go into the final with confidence.

Naomi Wasson took 5 for 14 as Strabane dismissed Eglinton for 115 at the Park - Jenni Jackson hitting 2 fours and 2 sixes in a 10-ball 24, while Lucy Carmichael made 20.

The villagers attack proved much too strong for Strabane though who could only manage 33 in reply – four wickets for Alice McLaughlin (4-7), while Jenni Jackson (3-5) and Zara Craig (2-4) were also among the wickets.
